Godzilla Junior (Japanese: ゴジラジュニア, Hepburn: Gojira Junia), also referred to as Baby Godzilla and Little Godzilla, is a juvenile monster, or kaiju, which first appeared in Toho's 1993 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. The character was introduced to appeal to the largely female audience that made Godzilla vs. Mothra a financial success, despite objections by director Takao Okawara. Over three films, the character evolved from an infant Godzillasaurus into a young adult Godzilla.

Godzilla Junior first appears in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II as an egg unearthed from Adonoa Island, presumed to be a Pteranodon egg. The egg displays psychic properties and imprints on biologist Azusa Gojo before hatching into an infant Godzillasaurus. Godzilla later seeks out Baby Godzilla through an unexplained psychic link, and the two settle on Baas Island. In Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, now called Little Godzilla, the character forms a psychic bond with Miki Saegusa and is imprisoned in a cage of crystals by SpaceGodzilla until his defeat. By Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, renamed Godzilla Junior, the character is badly injured in his first battle with Destoroyah and later killed by Destoroyah at Haneda Airport. After Godzilla melts down, Junior is revived and grows into a new adult Godzilla.
